Nintendo Wii Firmware Update to Wii Menu 3.2
By Victor | Published: February 26th, 2008
Nintendo has released the latest Wii System Update on February 25, 2008. Details from Nintendo’s website says:
- Wii Menu 3.2
This update does not affect any prominently-used features or menus; however it does provide some behind the scenes updates that will improve system performance.
I’m all for improved system performance, so I went online and updated my Wii firmware to 3.2U. Didn’t feel any improvement in performance since I have always felt that the Wii Menu is pretty responsive.
Play Patapon Online
By Victor | Published: February 21st, 2008
Though I am a big time Nintendo Wii fan, I do sometimes look at what Sony is up to with the PS3 and PSP. While looking around I came across Patapon. What is Patapon?
Well, see for yourself at http://www.patapon-game.com. This online version of Patapon comes with 3 missions for you to try out. I gave it a try and it made me think about getting a PSP. It’s that good. Go ahead and try it out for yourself.

How To Get Your Free Nintendo Wii Remote Jacket Accessory
By Victor | Published: February 20th, 2008
This is the story of how I got 4 Wii Remote Jackets from Nintendo.
Nintendo is currently running a Free Wii Remote Jacket offer for the Nintendo Wii Controller. If you bought an earlier set of Nintendo Wii set which did not include the Wii Remote Jacket, you may request for the Wii Remote Jacket to be sent to you. All you need to do is submit your request at Nintendo’s Wii Remote Jacket Accessory web page.
The problem with this offer is that Nintendo only sends the jackets to US and Canada addresses. Since I’m in Malaysia, Nintendo can’t send the jackets to me directly. So, how do I get my hands on these free items from Nintendo? I need someone staying in the US or Canada who will send me the jackets after the jackets are sent to this person.
It’s great to have a sister studying in the US. I submitted my request for 4 free Wii Remote Jackets (You can request for 1 to 4 jackets) to be sent to her in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She in turn sent it to my office in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Postage cost = USD8.65. She sent it out on 4th February 2008.
Today (20th February 2008), I received my free Wii Remote Jackets. Woohoo!
