Playing Gamecube’s Tales of Symphonia on the Nintendo Wii

By Victor | Published: September 23rd, 2009

I’m currently playing Tales of Symphonia (Gamecube edition) on my Nintendo Wii and enjoying every minute of it. Why am I playing this instead of Tales of Symphonia – Dawn of the New World on my Nintendo Wii? Well, it seems that it’s recommended to play the original Gamecube title before starting on Dawn of the New World.

I’m about one quarter into the Tales of Symphonia for the Gamecube. After I’m finished with it, I’m going to start on Tales of Symphonia – Dawn of the New World on the Nintendo Wii.

Are you currently playing any Gamecube titles on your Nintendo Wii?

Phew! Finally finished off Zelda Wind Waker after playing it on and off for 4 years. It felt good to plunge the Master Sword into Ganordorf’s head. Why did it take me so long to complete the game? Well, I would play for the game for a few weeks and then stop playing for a few months. I started the game on the Gamecube and finished it on the Wii.

This has to be longest time it took for me to finish a video game.

Gamecube Games on the Nintendo Wii

By Victor | Published: February 5th, 2008

I still play my Gamecube games on the Wii and I still haven’t completed The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. My wife and I spent hours on Animal Crossing. We never imagined that just wandering around in Animal Crossing catching insects, shaking trees, collecting seashells, fishing and digging fossils to sell for money can be so addictive.

You can still pick up used Gamecube titles from Amazon.com for a bargain. I got my used copies of Mario Party 4 and Super Monkey Ball 2 from Amazon.com.
